Tra di Noi was among the restaurants that served food for 500 VIP guests at the beachfront Malibu estate of LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling last summer when he hosted a birthday party for friend and neighbor Fred Segal. The party "in white" was a fundraiser for the Malibu Boys and Girls Club, raising over $100,000.

The Istituto Italiano di Cultura of Los Angeles proudly hosted an evening in honor of Dino De Laurentiis and his granddaughter, culinary celebrity Giada De Laurentiis.  Dino De Laurentiis  received the IIC Lifetime Achievement Award honoring his lifelong career as Academy Award-winning movie producer from iic Director, Francesca Valente.  Giada De Laurentiis was awarded the title of Cavaliere from the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles, Nicola Faganello, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano.  At the party, Tarcisio Mosconi and Chef Francesco served Tra da Noi's signature Orichette Pasta with parmesan and truffle sauce and peas to 200 guests. 

Partnering with Los Angeles magazine last December, Tra di Noi met the challenge of creating a special Italian Christmas Tea in a Malibu home for an event benefiting a local children's charity featuring a very high end jeweler. Herbs from the home garden were used in several dishes, such as the lavender in the panne cota and citrus picked fresh off the trees for the bellinis.

Los Angeles Magazine's fourth annual FOOD EVENT took place on a glorious October day last fall at Saddlerock ranch, home to Malibu Family Wines. Over 1.000 guests celebrated the day with food from and wines from high-profile chefs and local wineries.
A VIP lounge alongside the ranch house was recreated to look like the Tra di Noi Ristorante patio. Chef Francesco and owner Tarcisio Mosconi performance cooked and served from a special non-traditional seasonal food pairing menu with sensational wines from their good neighbor, Malibu Family Wines, to honor the day.

Tra di Noi served their most popular signature dishes to 350 guests in one of the magnificent Malibu Homes featured in the 24th Annual Cook’s Tour Fundraiser. The sold out progressive May tour includes four homes with different restaurants offering special tastes at each one. The event, which draws more and more guests every year, supports a scholarship program at the Malibu Methodist Nursery and Infant/Toddler Center.

Tra di Noi created a special Cyclist Stew at the “Taste of the Tour” event on May 22 at Saddlerock Ranch to celebrate the Amgen Tour of California Bike race.  Guests watched the time trials live on a JumboTron and sampled culinary treats from local restaurants and Malibu Family Wines, including the limited edition King of the Mountains Cuvée, official wine of the Tour. Part of the proceeds went to help bring this world class sporting event back next year.

Tra di Noi's piping hot risotto with rice and a dessert of fresh-from-the-farm strawberries were perfect for the late May weather at the 7th Annual Malibu Food & Wine Tasting.
The Semler family hosted the Malibu Chamber of Commerce event at their friendly Malibu Wines Estate Outdoor Tasting Room. At the party: Saddlerock and Semler Wines, Rosenthal Malibu Estate, Cielo, Sanity Wines, Malibu Vineyards, all participants in the Tra di Noi COMFORT FOOD, NO CORKAGE FEE MONDAY program. A lucky raffle winner took home a giant basket of wines.
